Questions?
Do I need to know how to edit?
No. Paste one reel you want to recreate and ClippyOS does the editing — it reads how that reel is built and makes three versions of it from your own clips. You watch the finished videos and export the ones you’d post.
Does my footage get uploaded?
Never. Your clips are read from disk, scored, and rendered entirely in your browser — no upload path exists in the product. The server handles your account, billing, fetching the reference reel, and a few short AI calls — transcript text plus a single frame of the reference reel. It never sees a frame of your own footage.
What about the music?
The track gets added in Instagram when you post — ClippyOS names it for you. Baking licensed audio into the file would get the post muted or removed. Using the reference’s sound for timing and naming the track is how the cuts still land on the beat.
What do I need to run it?
Chrome or Edge on a Mac or PC. Your footage never leaves that machine — every clip is read and every reel is rendered right there — so the work happens where your clips already are. Keep the tab open while they render.
